AI Meets Manuscript: Merging Humans and AI in STEM Grant Proposals

This workshop explores evidence-based findings on AI’s strengths and limitations, including issues of citation accuracy, rhetorical depth, and proposal homogenization, when drafting a grant proposal in the STEM disciplines. Through practical examples and guided activities, participants will learn to evaluate strategies to optimize AI-assisted drafting while maintaining control over originality, accuracy, and authorial voice.
