2026 Cancer Prevention & Survivorship Trainee Research Day

The upcoming Cancer Prevention and Survivorship Trainee Research Day will be held in person on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Canadian Cancer Society Centre for Cancer Prevention and Support in Vancouver, BC. 

This one-day in-person event will showcase the latest trainee-led research spanning diverse topics such as cancer risk reduction, early detection, survivorship considerations, and equitable care and prevention initiatives. Alongside oral presentations and poster sessions, the program will feature a career panel discussion with healthcare and research professionals, and opportunities for trainees to network with senior investigators, clinicians, and community partners.

We invite submissions from undergraduate, graduate, and medical students, as well as medical residents, clinical fellows, and post-doctoral fellows whose work intersects cancer prevention or cancer survivorship.
