ʔəm̓i ce:p xʷiwəl (Come Toward the Fire) Festival
September 18 - September 20

Join us September 18-20 for a three day celebration of Indigenous culture, creativity, and community.
Day 1 (Friday Sept 18 / 12:30PM – 4:30PM) – Knowledge Sharing: Learn and experience Indigenous cultures, language, and histories at the Chan Centre and at our partners across UBC Campus. Take a tour, watch a film, or attend a workshop and take in new learning opportunities. No registration required, all events are free to attend!
Day 2 (Saturday Sept 19 / 12PM – 6PM) – Daytime Festival: Free programming at the Chan Centre that includes music, dance, films, storytellers, workshops, an artisan market, and more! Wristbands required by donation.
Day 3 (Sunday Sept 20 / 6PM) – Finale Concert: Celebrate the closing of this year’s festival with an exuberant main stage concert featuring some of the best Indigenous talent from across the continent. Hosted by Dallas Goldtooth with performances by Aysanabee, Boslen, Siibii, Logan Staats, and more! Tickets are required.
